The tour begins at the Waterfront in Walvis Bay. From there, we embark on a scenic 4x4 drive along the Walvis Bay Lagoon and past the striking salt mines, heading toward Pelican Point. Along the way, we make several stops to photograph the abundant birdlife, including flamingoes, pelicans, large flocks of cormorants, and many other bird and wildlife species. After about an hour, we arrive at Pelican Point, where thousands of seals await. Within minutes, we prepare our stable, sit-inside double kayaks and get ready to paddle. The seals are remarkably friendly and playful—completely unbothered by our presence. They often swim right up to the kayaks, sometimes coming close enough to touch, offering a truly unforgettable experience.
